The”Unite Mzansi Unite” campaign involves a giant Bafana Bafana jersey touring the country in order to be signed by as many South Africans as possible.
The Unite Mzansi Unite campaign will inspire South Africans to unite as a nation by wearing yellow; the colour of the new Bafana Bafana 2010 FIFA World Cup home jersey. For this campaign, Adidas has created a giant jersey (size 60m x 48m) as a platform and an enabler for South Africans to unite and show their support. The giant jersey is set to go on a tour of South Africa via a huge branded truck. The giant jersey tour will give the entire nation, from school children to celebrities, the opportunity to sign the giant jersey as a demonstration of their support.
President Jacob Zuma recently signed the 60 by 48 metre shirt, in Bloemfontein.

Adidas spokesperson Zobuzwe Ngobese said the national squad had already signed the shirt. “We gave Bafana Bafana players the first chance to sign on it, and we are taking it through to the whole of South Africa giving people an opportunity to put their signature, as a show of support for the event and the team Bafana Bafana,” said Ngobese.

There was alot of excitement at RCS Sports when it was time to sign the Giant Bafana Bafana Jersey.RCS Sports in Fordsburg Johannesburg is a sorts megastore where I often hang out and get prepared for my soccer events.The football range is unbelievable and I often meet fans and sports Celebs here.So the signing of the Giant Jersey here was an important occassion.It was also amazing to see our local community get geared up for 2010 and getting Patriotic.
